Protecting Folders By Hiding behind The Image

You don't want others to read or open your important documents or Files.But sometimes Kids or other people try to open it intentionally.So there are many methods to keep them safe  from others to see.

First one is that you make whole folder hidden.Learn Here.

But there is a way to see this hidden folder by going into Organize>view Properties>Show all Hidden Folders.

So one solution to that is you can use a Software Like Protected Folder Or Folder Lock etc.....

But if someone knows your password than this way is also insecure.Another genius way is to use Image to hide your File.So in this post I am going to explain how to Hide your File behind The Image.


To hide a file behind a image  means that if any one opens that image he will see the image, but to see the hidden file we need to open that image in a specific way. So lets get started.

In order to do so First you have basic knowledge of command line Read It here.

Hide File Behind Image :

1. Choose Image behind that you want to Hide your File.
2. Choose File and make .RAR format of it by using WINRAR. You can get Winrar Here.
3. Copy both Files to Desktop or In following command in CMD go to Image and File directory and than run command.(Note :Both files must be in same directory)
4. Open command Prompt.By CLTR+RUN and type cmd.
5. In cmd type following command.........

Copy /b yourimagename.jpg + yourfilename.rar yourfinalimage.jpg

6. Now replace yourimagename.jpg with name of Image file you want to hide behind that Imagefile.

7. Same as above replace yourfilename with file you want to hide from others.

8. And at last replace yourfinalimage.jpg with the name you want to hide file.This will be the Image behind which your file is hidden.

Now if you open newly created Image it will open image only.

To access Hidden File Follow this Steps:

1. Open Winrar and Drag Image file into winrar.

2. Now Extract your filename.rar file.
